About a month ago my friend Annmariq invited me to join her in attending the early Christmas feast which was ran by Farmdrop. And what’s the best time to share a good Christmas time experience if not on Christmas Eve?
We were welcomed by a super nice Farmdrop team, got offered some yummy drinks like hot cider and mulled wine, had to chat a bit with each other and discuss our opinions and just overall, enjoy the time. Although they don’t deliver the goodies into my area yet, but the guys kindly promised that they will, so I’m extremely excited!
What I really liked was the Christmas decorations which I believe were handmade by the Farmdrom team. The table looked gorgeous!
They have invited Nick from Fosse Meadows Farm and he talked a bit about what they are doing. Although I do not eat meat, but I’m sure meat eaters will like what they are offering.
After, we got to make some turkey stuffing which I have never made before, only because we don’t have this tradition in where I came from. Me and Annmariq got to make the stuffing on the breadcrumb base. I honestly do not remember what I was adding into it haha, but I think it was apples, mushrooms, onions, cranberries, lemon zest and some herb seasoning. We got to keep the stuffing and I prepared myself some yummy stuffed peppers!
By the way, all the process was supervised by Beth Rose who is MasterChef 2015 semi-finalist.
And oh! I super enjoyed their range of cheeses, check them out, goes perfect with mulled wine. 🙂
Hope Farmdrop will start delivering to my postcode soon enough, so I will have more good things to share! But thanks to them, my Christmas mood came earlier this year! 🙂
Have a joyful Christmas period, friends!
Lots of love,
